The Forbidden City in Beijing, China is undergoing renovation for the 2008 Olympic Games. Gu Gong, called The Forbidden City in English, is located in the center of Beijing. It was once the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is just shy of 183 acres.
